What is International Moon Day?

Declared by the United Nations, July 20th marks International Moon Day, commemorating the historic first human landing on the Moon in 1969.
This year, The Sky Explorers is bringing the excitement of Moon Day to Mumbai—celebrating the spirit of exploration, innovation, and curiosity with style and wonder. Join us as we take the city on a celestial journey!

What's happening in Mumbai on the International Moon Day?

Mumbai will see a week long celebration in school with the moon as focal theme which will then culminate with a grand finale on Friday, 18th July 2025 from 5:30 pm onwards at the Auditorium of
Nehru Science Centre - Mumbai.
