Our Beloved Panelists
Shri. M Mohan
Shri M. Mohan became the Director of the Liquid Propulsion Systems Centre (LPSC), ISRO, on January 27, 2025. He is a top scientist who has worked on many important projects, like the GSLV-F08 and GSLV-F11 rocket missions in 2018 and the Moon Impact Probe of Chandrayaan-1 in 2008, which placed India’s flag on the Moon. Also helped develop powerful rocket engines and played a big role in India’s human spaceflight program. Shri M. Mohan has won several awards, including the ISRO Performance Excellence Award (2016) and ISRO Merit Award (2010).
Mr. Gnana Gandhi Vasudevan
Sr. Vice President - Propulsion at Skyroot Aerospace. Honored with ASI Award 2002 by President of India. Government of India has also honoured Shri V. GnanaGandhi with a Padmashri Award for his outstanding contributions to ISRO and our country in the area of Launch Vehicle development with particular attention to the most complicated Cryogenic Rocketry. He is involved in the development of Hydrogen bus with TATA motors.

Mr. Maneck Behramkamdin
Senior Vice President and Business Head of Godrej Aerospace, bringing a wealth of experience and innovation to our panel. An Expert in propulsion systems and aerospace engineering promises invaluable insights into the intricacies of human space exploration. A visionary in his field, Mr. Maneck Behramkamdin embodies excellence and forward-thinking.
Director, IIST . He served as Director, Aryabhatta Research Institute of Observational Sciences (ARIES), Nainital from 2019-2024. He is also a senior professor at the Indian Institute of Astrophysics. Dr Banerjee’s area of interest is the Sun and the solar atmosphere. His work involves theoretical and numerical modeling using data from ground and space-based instruments. His work has enriched our understanding of the Sun and its impact on Space Weather.
Prof. Sarita Vig
An astrophysicist of eminence from the Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology (IIST) in Thiruvananthapuram. With expertise spanning early phases in massive star formation, interstellar mediums, and laboratory experiments with PAHs, Prof. Sarita Vig enriches minds both in academia and through her passion in astronomy outreach endeavors.
Prof. Umesh R Kadhane
A Prominent Professor from IIST whose role contributes in advancing our understanding of plasmas and improving technologies related to electric propulsion and plasma-based systems. Prof. Umesh R Kadhane's international collaborations and leadership in experimental payload missions further cement his reputation as a visionary in the field of space science and technology.
Prof. Aniket Sule
Associate Professor at HBCSE-TIFR, Mumbai, leads with expertise in Astronomy and Mathematics education. As President of the International Olympiad on Astronomy and Astrophysics, and Chair of the National Astronomy Education Committee, his research delves into the history of Indian astronomy, shaping future cosmic explorers.
