Art Meets Science – The Cosmic Fest 2026

At The Sky Explorers, creativity and scientific curiosity are encouraged together. Art Meets Science at  the Paper Collage Making Competition designed where young students explore space science through artistic expression. The activity encourages students to visualize astronomical ideas and transform them into creative artwork using simple materials like old magazines and papers/ newspaper.​

The competition is open to students from Grades 6 and 7, working in teams of 3–4 students per school. Each school may submit one collage artwork based on the theme “Space Science.” The artwork must be prepared within the school premises as a team by the students then couriered to the organizers for display and judging.

The artwork must be created in one of the following sizes: 24 × 18 inches (portrait or landscape) or

18 × 18 inches. A frame or border may be added, but it must not extend more than 2 inches beyond each side of the artwork. All entries must be original work created by the participating students and must clearly reflect the Space Science theme.

Schools must first complete pre-registration between 16th March and 21st March 2026 using the provided form. Once a school confirms participation, a separate registration link will be shared to submit student details, with final registration open from 22nd March to 31st March 2026. After registration, a Coordinator Online Meeting on 3rd April 2026 will provide detailed instructions for the competition. The last date for submission of the completed artwork is 15th April 2026.

Schools are advised to pre-register early as participation seats are limited.
