The Cosmic Fest is the flagship annual event conducted by The Sky Explorers to celebrate International Astronomy Day. Now in its 6th edition, the festival continues its mission of inspiring students to explore astronomy, space science, and engineering through hands-on experiences and meaningful interaction with experts.

This year’s Cosmic Fest will take place from 21st April to 24th April, featuring a series of engaging competitions and activities for school and college students. The program includes a Space Telescope Competition for schools, a Radio Telescope Competition for colleges, and the Tinkering Scientist Challenge, where school teams present engineering and electronics solutions through robotics and innovative prototypes. An Art Competition for school students will also encourage young minds to creatively imagine the future of space exploration.

The event will culminate on 24th April with a vibrant closing ceremony featuring a Panel discussion with leading scientists and experts from Indian Space Research Organization, Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology, Homi Bhabha Centre for Science Education / Tata Institute of Fundamental Research, and Godrej Aerospace, offering students a rare opportunity to interact with professionals shaping India’s space future. The Cosmic Fest 2026 promises four days of creativity, innovation, and exploration designed to ignite curiosity about the universe.
